It seems to be coming from the front driver side wheel area and coincides with acceleration. I can only describe it as feeling like driving with a flat tire or on a dirt road that has a "washboard" type of runoff texture from rain. It's consistent for a few moments and then just goes back to normal and sometimes occurs on turns. Struts and links are all new in the front. I am pretty sure this is not a hub/wheel bearing. Is this an axle going bad? 2006 SEL FWD

Random heavy vibration
Re: Random heavy vibration
A CV joint that is dry, worn out maybe. Is CV boot torn/split open in a rubber boot crease, that makes the opening hard to see, but has let FOD into the joint?

Re: Random heavy vibration
By a cursory view, the boot seems ok. I have never had a vehicle where the boot got damaged, but there is a first time for everything. I will take a closer look soon and see what I can find.
