2005 Freestyle limited radio antenna source?

Post by Stormyme » Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:01 am

Does anyone know where I might get a replacement radio antenna? It looks as if someone has taken ours off the car. It looks like they just popped it out of the base?

Salvage yard. They un-screw, with some effort. Un-likely it just fell off.

Is there any other vehicle that has that type of antenna? When I call them to ask if they have one am I specifically asking if they have a freestyle antenna?

I wouldnt know about your first question. Yes to the second question.

I would say that $10 is a fair price for a used Freestyle antenna, talk them down to $5 or meet in the middle. Nothing special about those antennas, except they know you need one, and they have one. Check the new pictures of the guy dismantling a Freestyle in his thread here, he shows the antenna you are looking for, it has the flat sides on the collar to use a open end wrench to snug it down once you spin it on. Dont over tighten it, just tight enough that someone cant unscrew it with finger power.
