Clicking sound and rough ride with loss of power

Post by newguy232 » Sun Jul 29, 2018 2:08 pm

Hello everybody! So I’m having some random problems with my freestyle. I drove it to work(about 15 miles) and moved it around in the parking lot(maybe 20 ft), both times I had no trouble...now I’m leaving work and as soon as I start my FS, I feel an immediate loss of power and clicking from the engine. :shock: my boss said it might be the exhaust?i have not had the chance to scan, but I need to get this fixed. Any ideas?
:shock:

Scanned today, the codes I got were...

-Cylinder 2 misfire
-manifold absolute pressure/BARO sensor range/performance
-system too lean(bank 1)
-evaporative emission system leak detected
-O2 sensor signal stuck lean bank one sensor one
:shock:

Sounds like a vacuum leak on bank 1 (closest to firewall IIRC).

What does that mean? Sorry I have very little mechanic knowledge.

:::Update:::

I changed the mass air flow sensor and there was no change. I had some friends who are mechanics look at it and they said it might be a cracked intake, so I’m removing the intake and I’m also going to change spark plugs while I’m at it.
