Electric Windows

Post by JimMc » Sat Nov 04, 2017 6:13 pm

The front passenger and both rear passenger windows (3 total) only work from the master driver control switches. The individual switches located on the front passenger door and both rear doors will not open or close the windows. I've checked the fuse and it is ok. Looking for some hints as I continue to troubleshoot to find the problem. Thanks.

Are they locked? How many fuses did you check? There are 4, 2 in the battery junction box and 2 in the smart junction box.

I hit that switch all the time with my arm and lock the windows when I don't intend to.

The window switches are working again. The problem seems to be intermittent and I'm having trouble finding the cause. I did not know there were multiple fuses. I'll check those next time the window stops using. Thanks All.

Go to a junkyard and pull another switch assembly from a donor.
