Postby Davesim » Sun Apr 09, 2017 2:58 pm

I was wondering where this is in the car. I looked online and I assume it's in the back. I cannot hear mine at all. I just hear eh door speakers

Back right side of the car aft of the rear most seats on the side panel. If your car is equipped with one, there will be a speaker grille there.

Here is a photo of the subwoofer with the panel removed. I think it only came on the Audiophile stereo system.

Does anyone know what kind of hose is this? There is not in my car, although there is a fastener.

That's one of the sunroof drains.

Wow. Seems like a pretty terrible design. Good to know I reckon if my sunroof ever develops a leak.

No that is not a terrible design- every car and truck that has a sunroof has a similar set up, using EPDM hose for the sunroof channel drains and almost all run the (4) drains in each of the A and C pillars (D if a wagon like the FS)

The terrible designs are the cars that only have front drains which I have run across a few eons ago in the 90s.

Guess I should be more clear. Seems like a weird spot to put it. It would make more sense to me to just put it down one of the door pillars up front. But, I'm not a car designer....sooooo.
