No "problems", just a "feel"!

Post by EricS » Thu Oct 03, 2019 12:14 pm

So I recently purchased a '06 AWD, 130k miles that has no problems that I know of. Regardless, the first thing I did was to change the cvt oil and filter. It was obvious that someone had done it before me. My question is: when turning a corner, either at speed or from a stop, it feels like the differential(s) are locked up, particularly the front. No noises or any "give-aways". Any ideas? Thanks in advance! I look forward to not "needing" this forum much, but it is a great tool and I enjoy working on my cars and it is nice having like minded folks nearby!

Try turning off the traction control. Check CV joints and make sure the engine mounts haven't gone bad and shifted.

I should have also said, clean the throttle body.
