Hello everyone, I have a 2006 FS, I've never been able to find a repair manual form Haynes/Chilton or anything that compares. Is there a good repair/maintenance manual/reference out there? I purchased a 4831 page PDF online (supposed to be what the mechanics use) it is okay, but it doesn't show a lot of images, and the diagrams that it does show, are very low quality.

I got my dealership factory repair manuals from Ebay a few years ago. Bought each manual separately, as each one I wanted was listed at a price I wanted to pay.

okay thanks, and are the manuals easy enough to follow, like the haynes, chilton ones?
I need help asap I'm stuck at a spot where I have my front lower stabilizer bar disconnected and the subframe lowered as much as possible, but I can't get it out

Haynes/Chilton are garbage next to the factory service manuals. It depends on the model specifically (I can't speak to the Freestyle version specifically) but overall I avoid those manuals like the plague.

I buy only OEM shop manuals from eBay. They are more money but worth it IMHO. Yes they are easy to follow and have good diagrams.

If you have a public library nearby you could check there and browse the Chilton/Haynes or borrow it and see for yourself.

Can you (or anyone) post a picture of a few pages from your OEM shop manual that describes/shows the removal of the stabilizer bar, I separated the steering rack from the sub frame, it gave me a lot more room, but I still can't get it out, so close, but just not going to happen.
I'd like to know what orientation the bar should be, and which way to slide it, which side first.
Thanks you

Just ran across this, anyone know if it's credible? Seems dirt cheap. Honestly I didn't know they made manuals such as this.

I don't know if the one you listed is any better than the one I bought, but I have a similar digital one that I am somewhat happy with, but the illustrations aren't very good and they'res not a lot of them.

Let me know if you end up getting it, and you are happy with it.
Cheers
