Got a 2006 Freestyle

Post by Tall Hillbilly » Thu Jan 24, 2019 1:13 pm

I just acquired a 2006 Freestyle on a trade. Cost me a $125 rifle.
Going to swap the busted CVT for a 6 speed auto out of 500.
Interior is in near perfect condition as is the exterior and engine.

Looks good, there is a few posts on here about doing that swap. Easiest thing to do is find a wrecked or blown engine 500. You will need many items from the donor car.

How much horsepower and torque can the Aisin AF21 transmission handle, thinking of a little more horsepower for the Freestyle?
