low profile tires and 20 inch rims.

Post by Minnesota_Nice » Tue Feb 02, 2016 9:03 pm

I'm just curious has anyone ever tried putting on low profile tires and big rims on their FS? I would like to see photos. I'm wondering how it looks on an FS. Thanks!

Why would you want your Freestyle to look like a thug or pimp's car? Please don't ruin your car this way.

Hi Knowitall, Thank you for showing concern. I was just wondering if 20's would look nice on my FS. Oh by the way, since there was news (years ago), of Ford giving a free TB replacement or cleaning; it was mentioned 150,000 miles or "thru 2013" ---does this mean I can still avail of the free service or replacement for the TB? I only have 110,000 miles. And for the CVT, would you recommend I bring it in for fluid change at 120,000 miles?

Thank you and may you have a nice day!

Good grief. The Flex comes with 20's. That's bigger than I would prefer, but not pimped out.

Freestyle with Mustang 19" wheels.
Flex with 20's going to 18's.
2008 Limited AWD (dark ink blue)
2006 Limited AWD (sold)

The OP said "low profile tires" which would indicate a large wheel with little tread which destroys the original image of the car.

Certain types of people drive these cars. The type of people I don't want in my neighborhood.
