Interior Storage -pet peeve - solutions

Post by pwschuh » Mon Dec 20, 2010 4:56 pm

I like my wife's TX but I hate that it doesn't have enough "trunk." There's no place to store a small tool bag, jumper cables, tow rope, first aid kit, etc. If you throw them behind the third row you can't fold the seats flat anymore.

Anyone else care about this kind of thing? What have you done?

I wrap the jumper cables around the spare tire and am still able to tuck a few additional things down there too.

I do the same as family circus. I have the heavy duty cables and they wrap nicely around the spare tire. I also have a small socket set there. The tie down ratchet straps sit in the back right side below the window compartment. Be innovative and there is room for more than enough.

On the floor of the middle row... Kid that sits there is still in a carseat.
