Hi folks,

Have any of you ever bought one of those tpms bypass gizmos sold on ebay and made in Ireland? They somehow allow the car to no longer show the tpms icon/yellow light on the dash. So if you don't want to go thru the expense of sensors especially if you need to get snow tires and wheels, I guess this gizmo would help if it works as claimed.
They are about $65.00 U.S.

The T-Rex is my wife's car and I like having the TPMS warning lit on the dash during the winter because it reminds her that the car is on snow tires. Snow tires have different (higher) wear rates on dry pavement and they last longer if you take it easy on turns and drive a little less aggressively over-all. That little warning light is a constant "Slow Down" reminder that gets us perhaps another year's life on the snow tires.
