air pocket in the heater core
I cant seem to get the air pocket out of the heater core. I have a 2008 TX that has 185k on it. I blew air thru the heater core cuz it was clogged and overheating with no heat n got gunk out of it but it worked the other day when the front end was tilted up n now it doesn't. Looking for some help cuz I need my car for work n have to work tonight.
Re: air pocket in the heater core
You need to tilt the front higher and even then it will take a while sometimes even over 30 + minutes

Re: air pocket in the heater core
I did that....now it blows hot air when the car accelerates...it doesn't overheat though so my guess is that there is still a pocket of air in it??

Did you by any chance removed the coolant for rear heater also?
If you did you have to go to a shop.
