Not too bad, mine gets at least that depending on the wind. I have eeked out a 30mpg tank on a trip to Illinois driving about 70mph! I can usually get 27-28 on the interstate without a heavy head wind.

Yep, on my 2005 SEL FWD new I too pulled 26 - 28 mpg on the highway avg 24 mpg around town.

Now at 213K miles I'm getting 24 mpg on the highway. 21 mpg during the Chicago area winters.

We've averaged 20-22 MPG since new although once on a highway trip to New Orleans we saw 24.9 MPG. With the new CVT, Throttle Body, MAF sensor and latest firmware update, hope to maybe finally see the EPA HWY figure of 27 MPG.

On the interstate, cruising at 68-70 mph, we get 26-28 mpg per the computer. On two-lane country roads (most of our driving), with cruise set between 55 and 60 mph, the machine often says 30 to 32 mpg. These days, that's VERY sweet! :D

What is this "latest firmware update" you speak of? Is this something my 07 needs or could use?
