Now have 137,000KM, no major problems. I have never changed CVT fluid but a tiny bit was added once.

Just bought my '06 with 158,900 and it's a great running, great driving car..
I'm replacing the front struts and upper mount but other than that the car is fantastic.

Just joined the forum. Bought our SEL new off the floor in October of 2005. 159,000.
No major repairs per se.

Had the AC scroll valve thing at 120k. New upper engine mount. Replaces away bar mounts because they were making noise. Replaced rear brake calipers a couple times because oem are junk. Tires tend to wear outside edges funny. Had to do a computer reprogram for the trac control system which was weird at like 80k. Replaced struts under warranty because of a noise early on.

Just normal maint other than that over 9 years. Oil every 3kish and just recently changed HP filter in CVT. Didn't know about that. Had had fluid changed three times before now but never the filter.

Have had the differential fluids changed front and back as well as the coolant and power steering fluid. All works great.

303,852!!!

05 Limited AWD, ordered Thanksgiving weekend 2005, delivered January 2006. Only real problems I've had are A/C compressors (on my 3rd one) and having to replace the shifter around 130k miles. Still going strong as a daily carpool vehicle!

2007 Limited, late model run. 151,000 miles. Just had the suspension overhauled for the first time last year, but that was expected at this age. And new starter this year. Other than that no issues.

Thanks for the valuable and useful post. I'm sure more people here will do the right thing and immediately stop driving and buying Fords now that you are here to show us the light.

I'm sure whatever other manufacturer you decide to buy will produce cars with zero problems and you'll never have to deal with any issue again.

"I'm sure if it was you that almost died, you wouldn't be such an egotistical person, but thanks for the smart remark!!!!
