Helicopter noise

Post by Thrusty » Mon May 13, 2019 12:29 pm

Just got the noise today, actually I thought I heard it barely a couple weeks back but now it’s a little louder and I can say for sure that it.. How many miles can I expect to go before failure? I have no check engine light yet. I do not intend to repair the car. It’s a 2005 with 186k on the clock.

I have been driving mine since January of this year and it is sounding pretty bad now but it is still going. I commute 1 hour each way to work on the hwy.

Oh that's not too bad. I can live with that.

My 2007 lasted about two months before the small needle bearing completely fell apart. Finally fixed it and drove three weeks then started ticking really bad in or out of park or neutral I suspect tranny oil pump. Maybe a broken spring. Sad really everything else was working ok. Jim

6-speed swap is the way to go IMO.
