I bought 3 input shaft bearings from him, just incase. I only paid 34.00 bucks a piece for them. Apparently in VT, these are easily found from Ford Dealers on the cheap. Wish I would have known sooner, a tranny rebuilt wouldn't have been required.

The links provided at the beginning of this thread no longer work. Any idea as to where this info is available?

2002 Honda Odyssey 178K miles

Is there any specialist in Illinois that anyone knows and can recommend?

I heard from my Ford dealer and other online threads that they're under orders from Ford to not open up or fix them. Replace only.

thats what my ford parts guy in Kamloops BC Canada said too. Sad cuz there not that hard to take apart but fairly labour intensive

Maybe these files will someday be needed by somebody. Once I just put it together in one folder. Click the "down arrow" to download.

Thanks for restarting this topic. I've been reading everything I can but still have some questions. I'm guessing a lot of folks that posted a couple years ago have moved on.

I just got an '05 parts car AWD that came with a CVT so my goal is to see if I can make one good transmission out of 2 unknown units. I'll be posting pics of the teardown and hopefully the experts can chime in.
