A Little Good News About My 'Style

Post by tmad » Mon Jul 16, 2012 11:00 pm

Just wanted to brag a little about my Freestyle's performance during the current heatwave. On a recent trip to the Chicago area, with high temps between 95 and 100 degrees, I got an average of 24.4 mpg over 400 miles with the air cranking. That's combined city/highway. Coming home on I-80, 100 degrees, 70 mph, I was getting 26-28 mpg. Current mileage is 68,300. Still running cool and comfortable as the heat continues. Why did Ford drop this line? :)

Like the ad used to say: "Ford Had a Better Idea" The FS beats the Taurus X hands down. I'm ready to put air ride in from an Expedition.
