That sounds to me like the day the factory received the order... but I'm not sure. I think it would take at least a week before they could start building the Freestyle.

I saw the same question on the MyFord500 site. It is not obvious, and the manual might not say anything, but when you turn the rear defroster on, the mirrors will heat. That's the same way it works in my 2000 Taurus.

OK guys, now that we have 27 members, I'm really interested in what you guys want to see on this site.

- What brought you here?

- What would you like to see here?
- What do you like about the site?
- What do you dislike about the site?

All comments are appreciated!

I was looking at the Freestyle last night. The dealer was closed so I couldn't go out, but I did drool over it. It was $39K (CDN)... too rich for my blood right now with the whole family thing  . But man do I like the Freestyle.

I have not seen any such information either. Quoted from http://www.myfordfreestyle.com/specs/2005_freestyle_driving_dynamics.php - perhaps the salesman is confusing self-levelling with the toe-in feature??? The rear suspension plays a critical role in steering feel and overall chassis response. Dur...

Welcome to the site HairyKnickle, Is the fuel economy the only thing holding you back? 10% means about 2MPG. Depending on your driving style and how much you drive, it may or may not add up to a lot. If you do decide to buy a Freestyle, there are some ways in which you can help get the best MPG out ...

Thanks for the link. All I could find were unofficial Ford accessory sites. That one is the genuine one though.

Hey Freebie, what color is your Freestyle? Do you want me to find an avatar of your car? I have access to some good Freestyle photos and can probably find one in your color.

New Feature: Avatars

I've setup a new feature in the forums. You can now have an avatar (a little graphic that goes under your username in your posts). To put an avatar in your profile, just get a graphic or photo (maximum 100 by 100 pixels), and then go into your Profile and add it (at the bottom): http://www.myfordfre...

Welcome Freebie, you're the first Freestyle owner to join the site (as far as I know). Ack!! A leak already? Hopefully that's all the trouble you'll have. Anywho, so how does your Freestyle drive? Does it have adequate power? What do you mainly use your Freestyle for? Personal use? Business? Again, ...

I checked with a Parts Manager at the local Ford dealership. Here is the reply:
As of today there is no part number for this accessory in Canada (or US as far as I can see) but I am suppose to be getting a new accessory book in the next few days that may have something.

I'm not sure. I would suggest that you call your local dealer (parts department) and ask.
