Re: Engine jerk on freeway - 6 months old Freestyle

Not too familiar with your fuel situation over there. But if you have unknowingly pumped in some bad gas either stale or some with water contamination it will run badly. My 2005 freestyle sat for three years here and 235,000 miles ran real crappy when I got on the interstate. I had three bad coils a...

Re: 2005 Freestyle adding auto driving lights?

My Freestyle doesn't have the auto switch or the light censor in the dash. I would have to add all of that circuit. The main reason for adding driving lights my Freestyle is GRAY in color. Almost the same color as the road. I have had many drivers pull out not seeing me coming down the road. If the ...

2005 Freestyle adding auto driving lights?

I have a nice 2005 freestyle all is good except I forget to turn on the headlights during rain or just all the time. Large hammer and block of wood worked for me. Best to use a garage lift to get under the vehicle (provides more swinging room). y...

Re: Stripped oil pan 2005 Freestyle

This is the reason I try to do ALL of my own work from oil changes to engine swaps. Ya just can't trust the idiots on drugs who work at oil change places even dealers have some untrained idiots on the pay roll. When in doubt how much to tighten the plug look up torque specs for every bolt in a manua...

Re: Should I buy?

With out manual but with code reader found out #1 and #3 miss fire. I started taking the car apart to get to the back plugs (who designed this thing any way) ...

Re: How does the dealer read the keyless factory code?

Was going to be charged $110.00 to have the door code read at dealer LOL! I told him I'll do with out I tried to find sticker under dash and gave up I tried to use a mechanics camera could not find sticker either.
