I'd go for it given no hidden issues. Living in Minnesota with my freestyle and this thing handles snow and ice like a boss. Almost rather take that out during a storm than my truck!

General recommendation just try to get ceramic pads, and if you can afford them coated rotors to prevent rust. I shop amazon, or rockauto for all my car parts. Occasionally I'll get stuff from the napa near me.

Old post I see, but I remember doing this, and plan to comment for anyone else struggling that finds this. I had quite the struggle with getting that switch out. The trick I ended up having to do was to lift the brake pedal up and pull it out at the same time. Then it came out no problem!

Hey all just joined here after browsing a few times. Feel like I'm gonna have this freestyle for a while and always have question about what this thing is doing now, lol.

She sitting on almost 225k miles and still going fairly strong.
