Re: Surging

Mine just happens when it's hot outside and just about to pull into the garage. I haven't got wrench light yet. I have cleaned the TB a couple of time but has no effect on the surge.

Re: 150,000 miles today!

I change my oil between 7500-10,000 miles on my Freestyle using synthetic oil. Make sure you do an oil analysis before going to a longer oil change interval.

Re: 150,000 miles today!

I just past the 117,000 miles on my 06 Freestyle. I just did the sparkplugs yesterday, 5 minutes for the fronts and 1.5 hour for the back. You can't beat the Freestyle for utility, especially when your finishing your basement.

Re: installing a hitch

I just had to replace my Kurt trailer hitch because it was bending, Kurt was pretty good about sending me a new hitch for free. The hitch started to bend by the mounting holes. Here are pictures When first installed....June, 6 2007 http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1063/533714597_0e7da61974_b.jpg June ...

Re: Brake job Write-up and pictures

Did the fronts last night, went alot easier than the backs. My rotors were starting to wrap a little bit at 96,000 miles, so I replace the rotors and pads. Totals part cost $170.00 for Raybestos Advance Tech pads and rotors (including shipping and tax)

Re: introductions and a couple questions

It's not in the service manual, but it's good idea to replace tranny fluid and filter at 60k. Congrats on the car!!! BTW I lived in the Twinciites.

It looks like you drain and fill from the same hole.
