I bought 3 input shaft bearings from him, just incase. I only paid 34.00 bucks a piece for them. Apparently in VT, these are easily found from Ford Dealers on the cheap. Wish I would have known sooner, a tranny rebuilt wouldn't have been required.

Helicopter sound in neutral and park. Gets much louder and will start grinding. Had mine replaced on a 2007 freestyle awd. Total repair with rebuild tranny, new input shaft, and labor was 2700.00. I know a guy a heritage ford in Vermont, he hooked me up big time. Doesn't seem like that deal goes to ...
