I deleted most of the messages but can't block or prevent them with my rights. Also, for some reason, some of the posts wont delete.

That looks good, I went with an Arkon seat mount for the wife's phone and GPS unit. It was like $17 shipped, and it had a different mount for a Sirius/XM unit as well that I didn't use. I actually looked at those mounts but went with the dash mount instead. The Arkon looks better than I thought.

I felt the same way when I replaced mine with the Michelins. The ride was better, less noisy, and much better grip.

Were you able to use the existing Freestyle's Sirius antenna or did you have to use the one from the Sirius unit? When my six month trial is over I want to go back to my plug and play unit but don't want to add another antenna to the roof. I miss having rewind capability and like the ease of readin...

Thanks everyone. Thankfully the center dash is easy to remove and there is plenty room back there to muck about.

How is the signal input into your radio's amplifier? Direct connect to the antenna? I noticed 88.5Mhz on the radio's display. I bought the Sirius FM Direct Adaptor (Good deals on ebay) and it was very easy to install. I tried just the wireless FM transmission and got a lot of static, so I got the a...

Bracket for Satelite Radio Installed Pics

Hey All, I got a Sirius Starmate 4 and was never really happy with the window suction-cup holder. This was the main reason I got the non-slip bean bag holder for my GPS. Since they don't make a non-slip dashmount holder for the satelite radio, I looked online and found a bracket from Pro-Fit that is...

At those speeds and with the A/C on, the mileage will not be that great. I travel between AZ and California a lot in my Freestyle and if I go over 70 mph or more, the mileage really suffers. I don't always drive slower than 70 but there is defintely a sweet spot and over 70 its not. Also, make sure ...
