Re: creaking brakes

you can also try liberal application of brake parts cleaner. sometimes when the greasy fingers that installed new brake parts forget to clean the braking surfaces thoroughly...squeaking can result

Re: creaking brakes

ok, so my FS was making a creaky-squeaky when i released the brakes. typically after bringing the vehicle to a halt. you know, when you lessen pedal pressure. In response to a different noise I had the front stabilizer links replaced; guess what? The squeaking stopped!

Rear wheels no longer driven...

I have been asked previously and have seen posts regarding the Haldex pump. Is the Haldex pump the same as the tran...

Re: Tansmission will not engage

dont know if you solved the problem. but on the passenger front slightly above the cv axle shaft is the crank position sensor. damage to the sensor or the wires could cause some of the symptoms you report. but in all honestly what you describe sounds more like a heavily damaged cv joint. for example...

Re: Drivers side seat heater repair and costs

H 1: FUEL LVEL DATA ERROR - 2: DRIVER'S HEATED SEAT NOT WORKING - ptrott--I have the same car. no issue yet with the fuel error. My best guess would be the fuel level sending unit probably located in or near the fuel tank. i do have the exact same issue with the driver seat while the passenger work...

Re: New to forum, old to Freestyle

Re: Front Struts

hi. I haven't changed struts on the FS yet. But i would recommend changing the stabilizer mount rod things if you feel that your struts are ready. I was getting some heavy knocking and swishy feel from the front and my mechanic said my struts were fine but the stabilizer mount rods were toasted.

Now I have 108kmi and my Ford has lived a checkered life. Driver seat heater quit working 2 years ago. Light comes on but butt is st...
