They're not very accurate. I have a Dodge Magnum and it is the same. Sometimes the same as a manual check, sometimes high, sometimes low. My 08 Taurus X display does not have a decimal, it just rounds it to whole numbers. I assume they changed it because they know the computer isn't that accurate. Q...

Re: I what a brighter headlight

White doesn't mean bright. Anything with blue tint on the glass is filtering out spectrums of light, which means less lumens.

Re: Sync phone with nav?

I just go through the phone menu until I see connect, it takes a bit of time then it will give you a Sync PIN, find the SYNC Bluetooth connection on your phone and enter the PIN.
The details are in the supplement, as mentioned above.

Re: AN EASIER WAY TO TURN DOWN THE REAR BRAKES

I had to replace the rotor, which was rusted on - so I used this short video to help get it off and protect the lug bolts. While I had the rotor removed I re-attached the caliper with both bolts partially threaded in so I could apply pressure while turning my $10 piston turning cube. The nubs I used...

Re: A wider tire question....

Won't fit. I tried 255/55/18 on 8.5" wide mustang wheels and they rubbed on the shocks and stuck out to the edge of the fender.

Re: Mustang wheels on a Freestyle?

I believe they are hub centric. You can buy a spacer, I didn't. Lots of the spacers are plastic. My tire guy said he read up on it, but he thinks the spacers basically help center it. He didn't see a need. He said a lot of the wheels he takes off with plastic spacers - the spacers are broken. He did...

Good grief. The Flex comes with 20's. That's bigger than I would prefer, but not pimped out.

Freestyle with Mustang 19" wheels.
Flex with 20's going to 18's.

Welcome. I just recall the seats flipping from being folded to being flat - not rear facing. You'd need a real wagon for that feature. :P

Re: What other wheels fit?

I am getting rid of the 8.5" wide wheels. I bought a set of 18x8 Mustang wheels for my winters. They fit the 225/60s quite nicely.

Re: Programing Homelink Garge Opener

I just programmed the homelink in my 08. I recall having issues with the 06 as well. First I cleared previous programs by holding the outside 2 buttons for 20ish seconds, then I used these instructions: 1. Hold your garage remote 1-3 inches away from the HomeLink buttons on your visor. 2. At the sam...

Speed up power liftgate

I like the power liftgate, but find it kinda slow. My parents Yukon is almost twice as fast.
I'm wondering if there is a different drive unit from another Ford that is faster. Anyone try anything else?

Re: Remote Audio

I don't know what yours looks like. But our 05 without nav didn't have anything to turn on, they just worked.
Our 08 without nav (with sync) does not have audio buttons, they are for the Sync system. Are you sure your buttons are audio, or are they for your nav?
Not much help...
