Don't go to the dealer. First solution can be done in less than an hour. Resolder the oscillator on the circuit card in the instrument cluster. Remove the instrument cluster, disassemble it and on the component side of the circuit card, the oscillator is a small metal component shaped like a bathtub...

If you disassemble the instrument cluster, resolder the oscillator. From the component side of the circuit board, it's a small metal component shaped like a bathtub. Add some soldering flux to the leads on the back side of the board and reheat with a soldering iron. Fixed.

Its a small aluminum looking upside down bath tub shaped piece with 2 terminals out of it. if you rock it while looking at the back side you can see the posts moving. resolder them and its good as new. Confirmed. The part is the oscillator. Resoldering cured the two fuel sensor codes as called out ...

If you disassemble the instrument cluster, re-solder the oscillator. from the component side of the circuit board, it is a small metal component shaped like a bathtub. That's the mysterious fix that everyone keeps hiding.
