Engines can be tuned differently, exhaust systems are different so that they fit into different designs, the computers controlling engine and transmissions are programmed differently. The Six speed requires hugely different programming to the CVT Just because you see two exhaust tips at the rear bum...

I don't think the Freestyle is a good towing vehicle with the current engine/transmission. I just don't think "it has it" to do the job.

Dodge has selected the Jatco system for their new Caliber model thats coming in shortly. Same system as used on Murano.

On an unrelated not saw my first Freebie dead on the sideof rt2 in Mass the other day....
