I read an article that said the sales of the freestyle was up 46%. Here is a quote "On Thursday, Ford said its car sales slid 6 percent despite strong demand for the company's new Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln Zephyr sedans and a 46 percent increase in sales of the Ford Freestyle crossover....

The stereo sounds much better with the pioneer. I have not noticed if the radio reception has changed. The factory amps were left primary. I no longer have to have the system at 75% to be able to here the cd's, I think i am using a setting lof 20-25 on the pioneer. To me it is a great improvement an...

I still need the speed pulse line installed. I have a speed sensor but have not installed it yet. The antenna is locat...

That is why i was trying to see a diagram of the wire harness. I need to know which one controls the speed volume so that i can test out the signal being sent to the wire harness.

Thanks for the information on the sub system.

Is there a way you could get and post the wiring diagrams. I too am trying to add a navigation system. What i need to find out is how the rear subs are wired and powered to the radio. Also what i am wondering is if i could hook the VSS wire to the same wire that makes the speed volume work. I have p...

I checked with Circuit city and Best buy here in kennesaw, Ga. I also talked to Area 41 about the install. They did not say anything about having to bypass the amp. They did tell there is a command module that will learn your steering wheel control to what they need to work on the headunit. That thi...

Why would you need the direction and temp in the mirror when the car has the ability to do both? our freestyle has the direction in the dash and the temp on the A/C controlls location.

Just a question i have.

I will be installing the AVIC-D1 this october around the 2nd or third week. I was told from a custom audio shop that the controlls on the steering wheel will still work with the proper wiring harness. I have a portable one but as this car will be mostly used for traveling in i wanted to have a flush...
