Bought for my wife, aka THE MAMA, in late 2005. Has 135,000 miles on it now. Change oil every 5k miles, always synthetic 5w-20. Been a good practical car overall, with a few issues, mostly common to new cars with electronics. Transmission (CVT) occasionally acts up, and has since new, but never for the dealer, of course. Windshield wipers are available only fro Ford at $50 a pair (ridiculous!). Just replaced the A/C system for $1200 by a local indy shop. They poked a couple holes in the radiator so I gots THE MAMA a new one, gratis from the indy. Tires are a pain as they barely last 30,000, and have had a couple that went at 20,000. Rotation at every oil change helps, but when a 75,00 mile tire can only get 30,000 there is a problem - alignment, inflation, etc. all spot-on. Rear spark plugs - well, let's just say that the engineer who came up with that particular part of the design is an idiot.
