The transmission gear shift indicator panel (located on the floor console between the two front seats) no longer lights up. I pulled the cover and bezel and removed the bulb. It tests good. The two wires attached to the bulb socket are intact. The manual doesn't specify which fuse controls this bulb, but I checked all the fuses in the dash fuse box as well as in the engine fuse panel. Any ideas? It's annoying at night when changing gears not to be able to see which gear I'm in.

Make sure both bulb and wire contacts are clean.
