Our 06' freestyle has around 65,000 miles or so on it and I have noticed that all the tires are showing some cupping wear on them. I have had the tires rebalanced and have had tires rotated and psi checked the next thing I'm going to do is a 4 whl. alingment.. What my question is has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you have done to correct this problem? Thanks..

I just replaced our OEM continentals at 36K. They were perfect and still had 10K left in them. I acutally sold them used for $100 for the set on Craigslist. I now have a new set of "take off" goodyears. Anyway, mine were worn perfectly square, no cupping.

I would suggest a 4 wheel alighnment and regular rotations every 5K to keep them equal.

Mine is FWD not all wheel drive, but that shoudl make little difference.

It's possible you rotated your tires and one location is off or suspension worn which could cup all tires.

How many miles are on the tires themselves? If it's 65,000, you have nothing to complain about as that's great mileage on the original set.

We bought the freestyle with 30,000 on it and I think it had new tires on it but, not sure. I think I will go ahead with the 4 whl. alignment and see what happens. Thanks for your input..

most likely they were very cheap grade b tires and they will only last 35K or so. I prefer Dunlap's my self
