My wife left the car runing in park on an incline with the AC on for about 15 minutes, when she got in the car to drive off she noticed the wrench light was on and it would only go about 25mph, but when she turn it off and than started it back up again it ran fine. any idea what caused this to happen?

Its the cars "Limp" Mode , the cpu senses a problem and goes into safe mode to just get the car to service. Just have the codes read and see if its something bad. It could be just an overheat from idling from a very hot day. It could be the Throttle body. Or it could never return. Good Luck!

Thanks Death star, it was a very hot day, I told the wife that it probobly sense something and when into to a safe mode, but I really wasn't sure just wanted to get her to get off my butt. So maybe it did overheat somewhat.
